28 Apr Meet the iPhone SE Camera
Apple has very quietly been working behind the scenes on a new project and just wait until you meet the iPhone SE camera, design and everything it has to offer. There were little suspicions as to what this addition was going to bring to the tech world, if anything! In April 2020, Apple released their next addition and shocked everyone with a high end design and lower tier price tag.
Camera Set Up
An important thing to remember when you meet the iPhone SE camera setup is that this is a lower tier phone. All your high end phones will have multiple different lenses that all play a different role, which then increases the price tag. To make sure this smartphone keeps it’s low price, Apple has worked a single 12MP wide lens into the phone. This is found on the back with a very clean finish, which doesn’t subtract from the overall slick design. This single lens will give you some amazing shooting angles as well as different features to make your photos even better.
Portrait Mode
Portrait Mode is a fun feature found on a lot of recent releases that gives your photographs an extremely professional finish, so much so that people will be convinced they’re not from your phone. When you come to use Portrait Mode, you’ll have the choice of 6 different lighting options. Each of these will create a high end, outstanding photo. This feature essentially blurs the background whilst focusing on the subject of the photo. You can control the level of depth put into the background using the depth control so you can make the photo your own.
Before you come to take the portrait photo, you’re able to select your choice of lighting situations. These range from natural light and studio light to high-key light mono, each giving you a completely different end product. IF you’re looking for something eye catching and professional, you may opt for giving the natural light option, or even the contour light option a go. These will draw attention to your subject whilst softening the background and finessing highlights and shadows. Anyone looking for something a little more artistic and striking may choose to try out the stage light or all new high-key light mono options. These will create something different, maybe something you’ve never seen before.
A13 Bionic
If you haven’t already heard about what this chip can do, you must have been living under a rock. This chip is found in the iPhone 11 range and packs a serious punch. The A13 Bionic puts a lot of work into almost every inch of the phones it’s featured in, including the camera and it’s features. Thanks to this chip, you’ll be able to capture photos quickly and with no interruption. It also plays a huge part in making the portrait mode as good as it is. Thanks to the A13, you’re able to make use of Portrait Mode on both the front and back camera.
Meet the iPhone SE Camera Features
HDR has been around in smartphones for a while but Smart HDR is where you get the real quality from. With this generation of Smart HDR, the iPhone SE is able to recognise a face and change the lighting to suit it best. This means you’ll have highlights and shadows in better places whilst having a natural, even skin tone. Whilst doing all this, the lens also works to pull shadows and highlights from the background to make your photos pop even more.
With a smartphone with so many features, you’re going to want to make sure the simple bits are spot on first and Apple can tick off high resolution video for sure. With 4K video, you’ll be able to capture up to four times more detail with 1080p HD video. You’ll never have to worry about a low quality video again. Capture the world exactly as you see it. You’ll also be able to capture better details, shadows and highlights with the extended dynamic range.
The last few generations have all seen this super cool and extremely helpful feature in their cameras. We’re talking about QuickTake. This allows you to take a photo and quickly turn it into a video by holding down the shutter. This is absolutely brilliant for capturing the moment when you least expected it.
Once you meet the iPhone SE camera, you’re going to absolutely fall in love with it. You’re going to love this smartphone even more when you see the iPhone SE deals available, the prices are far lower than you expect.
