The Find My Phone process puts control of locating the phone back into your hands and means that when you have (hopefully) found your handset quickly you can reinstall everything and get back to normal as soon as possible. It also offers you peace of mind that if you never find it, or it has been stolen, your personal data is safe and cannot be accessed by anyone else. With the Samsung Cloud, you can temporarily move all your data to the cloud, wipe your phone and then you are only dealing with a missing phone.
