When it comes to making new phones, you would expect the latest and greatest models to come from some of the old hands. After all, they are seasoned phone veterans. So when an incredible handset didn’t come from them, it was something of a surprise.

The OnePlus Pro 7 is the latest model to hit shelves that’s really made waves. It provides a strong competitor to the other flagship models in the range, but it’s not from a major provider. There is a lot of really interesting features which make this a desirable handset, so we gonna be taking a look at some of the different options for you, and seeing what this is all about.

Pretty On the Outside

Okay, let’s take a look at the 7 Pro and review the features which make it a desirable model for many. First of all, we have a 6” display which is very nice, especially considering that all of it is going into scream and little onto edges. However, that’s not what makes it impressive. No, that honour goes to the QHD+ AMOLED display. 

However, that’s not what is really interesting about this phone. The selfie camera, in a fairly new turn of events, actually pops out from the phone when it’s needed, so it’s not taking up screen space all the time. We think that’s quite impressive to be honest. The phone itself also supports HDR+, which is something you normally see on top end gaming devices, so this is a nice addition. 

Functional on the Inside

Don’t think for a moment that the exterior design of this particular phone is all it’s got going for it. No no, a competent processor is working here. Specifically, there is the QUALCOMM Snapdragon 855 variant, which is more than guaranteed to turn heads. With up to 12 GB of RAM and a liquid cooling system at work inside the phone, you can be assured that maximum effort went into making this safe and functional as possible. 

The maximum 256 GB storage capacity will no doubt come in handy when dealing with the cameras. With a 48-megapixel, 16-megapixel, and 8-megapixel camera working to provide you with the best possible shots, along with the 16-megapixel selfie camera that pops in and out when needed, this is a great phone for taking high-quality photos. 

To summarise, this is an excellent phone which has launched to incredible success, and it’s easy to identify why this is the case. This was a phone which was made to challenge the popular models currently on the market, at the same time offering something new, and it’s done that very well.

With the advanced internal hardware coupled with the stylish outer aesthetics, this is a phone which looks good and performs well at the same time. It’s clear that OnePlus have been working hard to perfect their technique, and this culmination of all the efforts is incredibly impressive indeed.
