Ah, Samsung. If there is one thing that we do enjoy about them, it’s that they keep producing incredible technology which will change the way that we look at the world of mobile phones. 

They’ve been hard at work in their R&D department, and come up with something that will alter the landscape when it comes to mobile phone cameras, what we think they can do, and all of the expectations that go from new models.

So there is absolutely no doubt that we have got some incredible technology at the helm. Samsung has partnered up with a company called Xiaomi and made what they call a 108-megapixel image sensor. Given that their last flagship sensor was a 64-megapixel system, this is understandably an upgrade to take note of. Whenever Samsung roll out something new, you can bet that the world takes notice, because as is often the case, it’s game-changing. 

Boasting a resolution which rivals that of top-end cameras, this is an upgrade which will provide you with the ability to take photos that are clearer and sharper than ever before. 

Pushing For Greatness

This isn’t the first time that we have seen Samsung go all in for something of course – their history is filled with innovations. A representative for Samsung said that “‘Samsung is continuously pushing for innovations in pixel and logic technologies to engineer our Isocell image sensors to capture the world as close to how our eyes perceive them.” 

Packing in over 100 million pixels and colours that most people can’t even name, there’s no doubt that this is going to be the gold standard for cameras when it comes out. We’ve never seen technology like this before, and it’ll be exciting to see how it fits into the industry. 

The Gauntlet is Thrown

Here’s the thing – there’s a challenge presented to the rest of the industry now. Companies will have a handful of choices available to them – design something to rival Samsung, or risk falling behind. That’s one of the most incredible things about these mobile phone giants – they push everyone to do more and be better to keep up. You can’t deny that it will be interesting to see how everyone rises to the challenge, and whether anyone strikes a deal with the company to get access to this incredible technology. 

Overall, Samsung has proven time and time again that they can compete with the best of the best, and their new camera system looks to be incredibly impressive. We can not wait to see what they offer in terms of flexibility and usage. As one of the leading providers, it was almost expected that they would innovate the industry. This camera technology is unparalleled – there’s nothing else on the market to compete. So right now the company can bask in the knowledge that they’ve changed the game, and keep on making more innovative technology that inspires people to be the best.
