11 Sep When Will I Get My Hands on My iPhone 11 Pro Max?
The wait for the Apple announcement is over and we are getting three new iPhones. We know that you will be keen to get your upgrade on and switch out for the new iPhone 11 Pro Max, so we are here with all the details that you want to know about it.
The Date?
You don’t have long to wait for Apple’s new top-end handset, The iPhone 11 Pro Max. This is part of Apple’s latest range of iPhones to hit the market. These phones feature some great upgrades over the previous line. The iPhone 11 Pro Max is a direct replacement for the iPhone XS Max. Apple announced at a special press event that was live streamed around the world. Whilst they showcased a variety of devices it was the iPhones that most people were waiting for.
The Camera
Apple is finally increasing the number of camera lenses that you get on the iPhone for the first time. The iPhone 11 Pro Max will now have three camera lenses housed in a unique moulding on the rear of the phone. These cameras are a 12MP wide: 26mm f/1.8, 6-element lens, OIS, a 12MP telephoto: 52mm f/2.0, 6-element lens, OIS and a 12MP ultrawide: 13mm f/2.4, 5-element lens, 120-degree field of view.
Your photos will now look better than ever thanks to the additional hardware that Apple have added. But they haven’t stopped there, they have also boosted the front selfie camera as well, upping that from a 7MP to a 12MP meaning that your selfies will now look sharper than ever.
The Specs
Apple never sits on its laurels when it comes to upgrading the internals either. iPhones run custom chipsets inside, and Apple has upgraded them again the 11 series phones. The latest iteration is called the A13 bionic. This is claimed to be one of the best performing chips on the market and the sheer number of operations it can do per second is incredible. Apple has also seriously improved the battery life so you can expect at least 4 hours more use out of the iPhone 11 Pro Max over the older XS Max.
Design and Look
Apple has refreshed the design of the iPhone as well. The most significant detail being the new camera lens housing on the rear which with the three lenses has a sort of bowling ball feel to it. The front screen is a 6.5inch OLED whopper, which looks beautiful. Apple has also increased the protection of this phone with it now having an IP68 rating that should see it same in 2m of water for up to 30 mins. It is also said to be splash resistant to hot coffee and other common household liquids.
