17 May Your Phone and Upfront Costs – The Facts
For as long as there have been mobile phone contracts, there’s been one age-old question. Should you be paying for upfront cost?
As great as a mobile phone contract can be sometimes, the upfront costs can really take a good deal and turn it into just an okay one. Some people would argue that they don’t need to pay upfront costs for their phone, whereas others would say that it’s a necessary evil sometimes. We are going to be working out which one of these it is.
Why Upfront Costs?
To try and help you understand why upfront costs can sometimes be an essential part of the mobile phone contract, we are going to be explaining why we have them in our stock.
You see, we are a company that cares about customer experience. Everything that we do, we do to try and make sure that you have as many options and as much freedom available to you as possible when it comes to choosing the best contract for you.
We always want to try and offer you the latest handsets and best deals possible. However, this isn’t still manageable without upfront costs. What these costs do is help us to be able to give you the phones you want at enough of an affordable price every month, while still making sure that everyone benefits from the arrangement. If we didn’t charge you a small amount at the beginning, it’s more difficult for us to give you the handsets that you deserve at prices you can appreciate.
Upfront Cost = Good?
So those of you that have been reading this will probably conclude that we think that upfront costs are a good thing. And in some respects, we believe that they are. Without these upfront costs, we can’t possibly begin to offer you the phones that you want and all the contracts that you desire. However, there are also circumstances where you don’t need to pay any upfront costs to get access to the phone that you want. In that instance, we don’t see a need for the upfront fee to even come into it.
If you can get the phone that you want without having to worry, we are more than happy to help you do that. A lot of our flagship models from various companies are all available for no upfront cost. There are some require you to pay a little bit more upfront, but then the overall cost each month goes down. It’s a balance, in truth.
When everything is said and done, we are a company which cares about your experiences. That’s why we have a selection of deals and offers which have an upfront cost and also don’t. You’re free to pick and choose at your discretion, and we believe that that’s the fairest way for anyone to decide what kind of contract they want.
To answer the question we asked at the very beginning, we believe it’s entirely circumstantial, and we know that the upfront cost but a lower monthly instalment will benefit some people. For others, it won’t make a difference, so they’re free to move onto the no upfront cost deals. It’s always about what is important to you as a customer!
